Just heard Stephen Colbert, brilliant writer/comedian/performer who's done everything from Second City to the ambiguously gay duo, on a Mr. Goodwrench commercial on the radio. The fact is, even with a few lines probably written by an ad guy, Colbert is still a genius. How I miss my travels with him, driving on lonely stretches of highway to meet the guy who provides actors to portray witnesses in court cases. Colbert could ask you a question you'd still be trying to answer a year later.
