We'll see what's true and what isn't. It'll certainly be interesting. Libby's accusations seem to make sense. Why would he have leaked info without authorization from his boss? Does anyone really think this happened?
What's not surprising is the lack of outrage by Republicans.

I'm fully prepared to be outraged, but am waiting for facts to emerge vs. jumping to conclusions. Since a leak is cladestine by nature, it is equally plausable in my mind that Libby could just have easily acted on his own, or he could be lying to deflect his own guilt.

You're not going to see Republicans go after the President for this any more than you saw Democrats go after Clinton during Monica (except poor Joe Liebermen). There is a basic tribal instinct here.
That being said, it's hard not to see that Republicans up for election this year are treating the President like kryptonite on a whole lot of issues. That's been the most interesting barometer for me.
As for John Dean - yeah, he's a real peach of a guy.
Lieberman.
Dammit.
You can call me a Republican if you want, but I'd have voted for Joe Lieberman and that's a fact.
We'll see, but my gut tells me Libby acted under orders - maybe GW will Reaganitis and 'forget' all about the events....
