Supa Dupa Compress-O-Matic, at seting Supa Dupa...

It does sound good.

Don't worry, we'll mix it in Dubley.

It's 128kbps MP3, pretty much as low as I'll go. It's pretty remarkable how small these files can be made, although I hear the distortion on the high end (the smearing of the cymbals) very clearly.

At 192kbps the files are still pretty small...

Ted, would you care to look over the Geek Farm files and let us know your thoughts - how many tracks are ready for vocals?

It is my opinion that we have got takes of 'High', "More', and 'Ass Fault Perfume' that rea ready to track the estiminable Eric's precious vocals.

Very good sounds on the Geek Farm track. Great tune as well. Very Blink 182 sounding. I'm sure they'd hate to hear that, but I think it sounds great. I don't Dubley will add anything to it at all. Perhaps going with an all black cover.

The vocals on the Telecasting "More" just might be the finals.

You tell Evan that if he wants a certain guitar sound then he should make that sound and we'll record it.

Seriously, we'll look/listen and harsh it up. Ultimately, though, a guitarist's sound is his/her responsibility... as Alan Parsons said of working with Gilmour on 'Dark Side,' "David was very much in control of his sound system. We rarely added effects to his guitar in the control room. Generally speaking, the sound on the album is pretty much what came out of his amp."

I hope I don't sound too snotty, but it's an important point.

Fucking Geek Farm! God! I'm so fucking sick of it! This sounds thisy and that sounds thaty, SHUT UP!

Was that out loud? Sorry.

The guitars may sound soft due to the loose multi tracking, i.e., he played it twice and the two traks aren't real tight, the effect of which is muddy, unclear, or soft sounds. One guitar played right is always edgier.
